Brunei records 108.2 per cent trade balance increase in January


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, April 28 (Xinhua) -- Brunei recorded 704.2 million Brunei dollars (US$527.6 million) trade balance for January 2023, a 108.2 per cent year-on-year increase contributed by a rise in export and a drop in import value.

Brunei's exports in January increased by 20.8 per cent yearly to 1,586.6 million Brunei dollars, mainly due to the increase in mineral fuels exports, showed statistics released on Friday by the Ministry of Finance and Economy.
