Thailand to suffer scorching heat, summer storms this weekend; people advised to stay indoors

BANGKOK, April 15 (The Nation Thailand/ANN): Most of upper Thailand will be hit with summer storms this weekend, while the rest of the country will experience hot to very hot temperatures, the Thai Meteorological Department warned.

In an announcement on Saturday morning, the department said a moderate high-pressure system moving from upper Vietnam to the Northeast and the South China Sea will bring storms, gusty winds, hail and thunder to several provinces on Saturday and Sunday.
