Brunei to maintain oil, gas output at 300kboe/d


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): The Department of Energy under the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), aims to maintain the production of oil and gas at 300 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day (300kboe/d) in the medium term and will increase to the level of approximately 350kboe/d in the long term.

This was shared by Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Halbi Mohd Yussof during the 19th Legislative Council (LegCo) session on March 7.
