More than 320,000 people in 29 provinces in Thailand still affected by flood


BANGKOK, Oct 15 (Bernama): More than 326,000 households in 29 provinces, mostly in the northeast and the central regions, are still affected by floods - and heavy rain is expected in the northeast, east and central provinces starting on Saturday.

The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) reported a total of 326,811 households in 6,310 villages affected by floods following heavy rainfall and overflowing rivers.
