Seoul offers to tap oil reserves


The government will offer petroleum from its stockpiles to local industries in case supply disruptions are prolonged after the US attacks on Iran, the Korean industry ministry said in a statement.

The government’s petroleum stockpiles are held at nine locations in the country and are usable for several months, the ministry said yesterday. — Reuters
