JAKARTA, Aug 1 (dpa): Indonesian tourism operators and workers started a one-month strike on Monday over a steep increase to the entry fee for Komodo Island, home to the giant lizards known as Komodo dragons.
Authorities in East Nusa Tenggara province began imposing an annual fee of 3.75 million rupiah (US$252 - RM1,121) to enter Komodo Island on Monday (August 1).
