Loans on offer to support Lao workers seeking jobs in Korea


VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/Asia News Network): The Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare is partnering with the BNK Microfinance Institute to provide loans for Lao workers seeking jobs in the Republic of Korea, but who cannot afford the expenses involved.

The loans will benefit low-income people seeking jobs as seasonal workers, who must pay expenses of about US$2,780 to acquire employment.
