Covid-19 cases trending downward in Laos as government relaxes measures


VIENTIANE, Feb 8: Cases of Covid-19 infection in Laos have begun to trend downward, according to the National Taskforce for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, reports Laotian Times.

Dr. Lattanaxay Phetsouvanh, Director-General of the Department of Communicable Disease Control, Ministry of Health, said in a statement that the country had begun to see more days where fewer than 300 confirmed cases of Covid-19 are reported per day.
