Philippines logs 402 new Covid-19 cases and 184 new deaths on Sunday (Dec 12); active cases down to 11,255

MANILA, Dec 12 (Philippines Daily Inquirer/ANN): The Philippines' Department of Health (DOH) on Sunday reported 402 fresh cases of Covid-19, with 509 more recoveries bringing down the number of active cases to 11,255.

This latest caseload marks the 19th consecutive day the country recorded less than 1,000 Covid-19 cases per day. According to the DOH, 95 percent or 380 of the 402 cases were recorded within the recent 14 days.
