Brunei economic growth projected at 3.5pc next year


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): The Asian Development Bank (ADB) projected Brunei’s economic growth at 3.5 per cent next year compared to three per cent predicted earlier.

The Asian Development Outlook (ADO) 2021 published on Wednesday (Sept 22) also stated that Brunei’s economic growth is trimmed to 1.8 per cent in the latest ADB update of its flagship economic publication, down from their earlier forecast of 2.5 per cent in April this year.
