BEIJING: The construction of a globally interconnected smart grid of clean energy may provide a solution to address the international crisis of biodiversity loss, according to a book released on Tuesday in the run-up to a key UN biodiversity conference.
Globally, biodiversity loss can be attributed to five main causes – habitat loss and degradation, over-exploitation, climate change, environmental pollution and invasive species.
