Laos offers emergency relief for areas lashed by tropical storm Conson

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/Asia News Network): Authorities in several provinces are speeding up the delivery of relief aid to help people affected by Tropical Storm Conson that passed over the country on Saturday (Sept 11), flooding at least 70 houses.

Nine people have been injured and an elderly woman died in Southern Saravan province.
