Minister urges vigilance as Cambodia's Delta cases hit 1,538; govt also reports 401 Covid-19 infections in country

PHNOM PENH, Aug 28 (Phnom Penh Post/ANN): The tally for the coronavirus Delta variant in Cambodia has reached 1,538 after 212 new cases were confirmed in just three days – 71 on Aug 25, 138 on Aug 26 and three on Aug 27.

Delta has spread to most parts of the country with only Kep and Kratie provinces having been spared from the highly contagious strain.
