Cambodian govt mulls third shot for Covid-19 vaccinees as another 4 million vaccine doses arrive

PHNOM PENH, July 10 (Phnom Penh Post/ANN): The government is considering administering a third dose to those who have received their second shot of vaccine against Covid-19 to boost their antibodies and determine how it can protect them from the new Delta coronavirus variant and its slightly mutated version Delta Plus, according to a senior health official.

York Sambath, the Ministry of Health secretary of state, said this while receiving another four million does of Covid-19 vaccines at Phnom Penh International Airport on the morning of July 10.
