Laos Covid-19 taskforce reports virus continues to be transmitted through close contacts of patients

VIENTIANE, June 18 (Vientiane Times/ANN): Although the number of new Covid-19 cases reported each day has dwindled, testing shows that the virus continues to be transmitted through contact between infected individuals and their friends, family and colleagues.

In most cases this occurs because people ignore the Covid control measures, notably social distancing, the Laos National Taskforce for Covid-19 Prevention and Control told a press briefing on Friday.
