Brunei requires mandatory Covid-19 vaccinations for outbound travellers


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, June 4 (Xinhua): The Brunei government has issued updates on the Exit-Travel Application Guidelines, requiring outbound travellers to obtain mandatory Covid-19 vaccinations starting from August 1, 2021.

The additional condition applies to citizens and residents working abroad, transport operators, foreign workers returning to their country of origin for mandatory contract leave and coming back to Brunei (on a valid employment pass or dependent's pass), and anyone exiting the country for business and other essential travels, the country's Prime Minister's Office (PMO) was quoted as saying by local daily the Borneo Bulletin on Wednesday.
