Royole unveils micro-LED stretchable display technology

SHENZHEN (China Daily/ANN): Royole Corporation, a Shenzhen startup that designs and manufactures thin bendable displays for foldable smartphones and other devices, said on Monday it has developed the first stretchable display using micro-LED-based technology.

Stretchable displays are not only foldable and rollable, but also can be pulled and twisted. Royole on Monday (May 24) said in a press release that its display technology is capable of 130 per cent stretchability, meaning a 10cm-long screen can stretch up to 13cm.
