No new Covid-19 cases reported as Brunei stays free of local cases for a whopping 374 days

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, May 16 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): Brunei Darussalam recorded no new Covid-19 cases yesterday keeping the tally of confirmed cases at 232. No local transmissions have been reported for 374 days.

Nine cases are receiving treatment at the National Isolation Centre (NIC) and are in stable condition.

The Ministry of Health (MoH) shared the latest updates on the Covid-19 in its daily statement

Four hundred and thirty-seven individuals are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres after travelling from abroad, while 18,236 have completed their stint since March 2020.

In its breakdown of Covid-19 cases in the country, healthinfo.gov.bn revealed that there have been 197 cases in Brunei-Muara District, 29 in Belait District and six in Tutong District. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
