Brunei King calls for modest Raya celebrations and ask Bruneians adhere to health guidelines


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, May 15 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): Despite being blessed with Allah the Almighty’s protection that allows us to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri this year with joy, His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei reminded his subjects to adhere to health guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health (MoH) in celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

Delivering the titah from Istana Nurul Iman yesterday evening on the occasion of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, His Majesty also highlighted health and safety should not be neglected during the festive season, including road users. “Vigilant steps and obeying law and regulations are required, ” he said.
