Covid-19: Thailand reports first case of Brazilian variant in state quarantine facility

BANGKOK, May 5 (Bernama): Thailand recorded its first case of Brazil Covid-19 variant as the kingdom intensified efforts in fighting the third wave of infections.

Over the last 24 hours, Thailand recorded 2,112 new Covid-19 cases and 15 deaths, bringing the total infections in the country to 74,900 and 318 fatalities.
