Suspected terrorist killed in raid


A TERROR suspect in the Indonesian city of Makassar in South Sulawesi province was killed by the National Police counterterrorism squad Densus 88 after allegedly trying to attack officers with machetes during a raid, police said.

“When (the suspect) was about to be arrested, he resisted and attacked the police officers who then took measurable and firm action, ” South Sulawesi police’s spokesman E. Zulpan told reporters in Makassar, as reported by local media.
