Cambodia announces AstraZeneca vaccines will arrive on Tuesday (March 2)

Phnom Penh, March 1 (Phnom Penh Post/ANN): The Ministry of Health along with the World Health Organisation (WHO) and UNICEF announced on Feb 28 that 324,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine licensed to the Serum Institute of India (SII) – known as COVISHIELD – will arrive at Phnom Penh International Airport on March 2, according to a press release from the ministry.

Prime Minister Hun Sen also declared that – barring any changes to the situation or unforeseen circumstances – he will be vaccinated against Covid-19 on the morning of March 4.
