Philippines: Covid-19 cases surge to 213,131 in total with 3,637 new infections

MANILA, Aug. 29 (Xinhua): The number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the Philippines surged to 213,131 after the Department of Health (DOH) reported 3,637 new daily cases on Saturday.

The DOH said that the number of recoveries rose to 135,101 after it reported 655 more patients have survived the disease.
