Minister: Malaysia has essential adequate and readily available

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 9 (Bernama): The government has given the assurance that there is an adequate and ready supply of essentials to meet the people’s needs.

Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said this was based on daily monitoring by Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) Ministry enforcement teams in which yesterday alone, monitored 12 types of supply of goods at 543 business premises including retailers (390), wholesalers (130) and manufacturers (23).
