Laos: Dengue cases on the rise; govt focuses on fight against dengue fever

VIENTIANE, July 26 (Xinhua): The war against the Covid-19 is basically a victory for Laos. Now, its health authorities are focussing on the fight against dengue fever, as the number of confirmed cases in the country continues to rise.

All provinces have set up special taskforces to combat dengue. All stagnant water is being removed to prevent dengue-carrying mosquitoes from breeding.
