Brunei: 355 undergoing self-isolation at monitoring centres; no Covid-19 cases in 65 days

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, July 12 (Borneo Bulletin/Asian News Network): Brunei Darussalam recorded no new Covid-19 cases keeping the national tally at 141 cases. Information on the latest Covid-19 situation in the country was shared by the Ministry of Health in a statement yesterday.

A total of 355 individuals who just arrived in the country are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres, while 3,145 individuals have completed the self-isolation at the monitoring centres since March this year.

In all, 279 samples have been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of laboratory tests conducted since January 2020 to 33,606.
