NEW DELHI (Xinhua): The number of Covid-19 (coronavirus) cases in India surpassed the 400,000 mark on Sunday (June 21), reaching 410,461, as the total deaths due to the virus crossed the 13,000-mark, reaching 13,254, said the latest data released by the health ministry.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in another move launched an employment scheme for the welfare of migrant labourers who had returned home from major cities amid the lockdown imposed to control the Covid-19 since March 25.
