BANGKOK: The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) on Saturday (June 6) said in a press briefing that it is looking into converting half of the 12 million Thais who had been expected to travel overseas this year into domestic tourists.
"Thai travelers who were supposedly travelling overseas this year, may turn their eyes on local tourism if they can buy exclusive luxury packages at a special price," said TAT governor Yuthasak Supasorn.
