Cambodia attracts six million international tourists in 11 months


KAMPOT, Cambodia: Cambodia recorded six million international tourists during the January-November period of 2024, a year-on-year increase of 22 per cent, Tourism Minister Huot Hak said on Friday (Dec 13).

"Based on this figure, Cambodia is projected to receive approximately 6.7 million foreign visitors in the entirety of 2024, which will surpass the pre-Covid-19 pandemic level in 2019," he said in a speech during the opening ceremony of the 11th Sea Festival in the southwestern Kampot province.

In 2019, the South-East Asian country received 6.6 million foreign tourists. - Xinhua
