FAM insist Kim Swee and Razip’s roles won’t overlap

KUALA LUMPUR: The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) insist national youth coaches Ong Kim Swee and Razip Ismail are not redundant.

The national football governing body came under fire recently when they assigned Harimau Muda B coach Razip to take charge of the team for the S-League and the AFC Under-22 qualifiers in February and March respectively, while Kim Swee, who was coaching the Harimau Muda A since 2011, had his role “reduced” to just handling the National Under-23 squad for the SEA Games in June.
