No golden arrow from men’s compound archers

The Malaysia men's archery compound team showing off their silver medal after narrowly losing to the Philippines in the final on Wednesday.

NAYPYITAW: Compound archer Mohd Kaharuddin Ashah was consoled by his team-mates – Muhd Zaki Mahazam and Mohd Juwaidi Mazuki – but it could not mask his pain of having let the team down.

On Wednesday, Kaharuddin shot a six with his last arrow but what he needed was a nine in the men’s compound team final at the Wunna Theikdi Archery Range here.
