KUALA LUMPUR: A marketing manager of a frozen food company has been sentenced to a day's jail and fined RM50,000, in default six months' jail, by the Sessions Court here for giving a bribe of RM25,000 to a Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) officer.
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), in a statement, stated that judge Rosbiahanin Arifin handed down the sentence on Cheah Peck Hiong, 40, of Piau Kee Live & Frozen Seefoods Sdn Bhd.
