Workshop on GST tomorrow

A WORKSHOP aimed at raising awareness on the goods and services tax (GST) will be jointly organised by the Youth and Wanita wings of Kelana Jaya MCA at its activity centre tomorrow.

Wanita MCA vice-chairman Ong Chong Swen, who is also Selangor Wanita MCA chief, will open the workshop.

The workshop will be held in two sessions. The Mandarin session will start at 10am while the English one begins at 2pm.

This will allow businessmen, manufacturers and consumers to gain better understanding of the GST.

The main objective of the workshop is to allow the public to learn about and understand the Government’s initiatives in the implementation of the GST next year.

The speakers comprise representatives from the Finance Ministry and the Customs Department.

Seats are limited and are on a first-come, first-served basis. Admission is free.
