SOME 50,000 devotees turned up at the Sri Singamuga Kaliamman Temple in Teluk Bahang, Penang, to pay homage to Lord Sri Singamuga Kaliamman and celebrate the Masi Magam Theppe Thiruvilla (floating chariot) festival.
This year’s celebration had a green theme as biodegradeable floats were introduced by the Amriteswari Foundation of Malaysia Butterworth Community Centre (AFMBCC).
