PR leader: Where’s the ‘Death Railway’ compensation from Japan?

KUCHING: A full investigation must be conducted on the RM207bil compensation money paid to the Malaysian Government for citizens forced to work on the infamous Thailand-Burma “Death Railway” during World War II.

Pakatan Rakyat leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said if it were true that Japan had already paid up and there was evidence supporting this, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak should conduct the investigation and provide a full report on it.
