Brazilian firm launches facility to promote eco-tourism and forest research in Teluk Rubiah

AS PART of its efforts to contribute to Malaysia, Vale Malaysia Minerals Sdn Bhd, the Malaysia arm of Brazilian mining company Vale SA, has launched the Vale Eco Centre in Teluk Batik, Lumut.

The centre, which is the gateway to the 289ha Teluk Rubiah forest preserved by Vale, now serves as one of the main environmental conservation centres in the Manjung district.
