Debunking the common myths about palm oil

When cooking turkey, use a food thermometer to check that the internal temperature of the inner thigh and the thickest part of the breast reach 165 degrees before removing the turkey from the oven, and let it stand 20 minutes before serving. Palm effect on health has been a topic of debate since it first entered the US market in the 1980s, where soy bean oil is widely used for cooking. 

In the following years, palm oil was described as “unhealthy” and “hazardous”, even though it is widely used in palm oil-producing countries such as Malaysia and Indonesia.
