I started exposing my child to logic since he was two, starting with simple, square wooden blocks which he learned to stack. Gradually, he explored the ways to stack the blocks differently to form different shapes and structures, ranging from railway tracks to a pyramid.
He learned that he needs to build a stronger base by putting more blocks at the bottom when building the pyramid. From block-building, we moved on to climbing activities at the playground. My child learned how to climb up by coordinating the movements of his hands and legs. Steadily and slowly, he learnt how to plan his steps and climb to the top and move down safely on his own.
