Pintaras shares up after bagging RM74mil Warisan Merdeka job


KUALA LUMPUR: Pintaras Jaya Bhd’s shares rose at midmorning on Thursday after it secured a RM74mil job to undertake the foundation works for a building at Warisan Merdeka.

At 11.28am, its shares rose 14 sen to RM3.05 with 240,100 shares done between the prices of RM2.98 and RM3.08.

The FBM KLCI was up 1.28 points to 1,819.88. Turnover was 698.68 million shares valued at RM629.24mil. There were 272 gainers, 286 decliners and 316 counters unchanged.

The group said on Wednesday its unit Pintaras Geotechnics Sdn Bhd had received a commencement date notice from PNB Merdeka Ventures Sdn Bhd.

Pintaras Jaya said work was expected to start next Monday, March 17 and completed in a year.
