Woman found dead in Putra Perdana apartment


SEPANG: A woman has been found dead inside an apartment after firefighters were called in to break open the door of the unit.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (Operations) Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar said the department was called by the police to assist in opening a door at an apartment in Putra Perdana on Saturday (May 25).

"At the location, the locked door was successfully opened using special tools. The body of a deceased woman was found inside.

"The body has been handed over to the police for further action," he said.

Sepang deputy OCPD Shan Gopal Krishnan confirmed the case, adding that it has been classified as a Sudden Death Report.
