New species of mangrove slug named after USM marine biologist

GEORGE TOWN: A marine biologist who helped to discover a species of mangrove swamp slug has the honour of getting it named after her.

Prof Datuk Dr Aileen Tan from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) has been carrying out intensive research and working on mollusc for the past 29 years.
