PUTRAJAYA: Land clearing on three hillslopes in Sungai Ara, Penang, will be checked for environmental impact assessment reports, said Natural Resources and Environment Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar.
He said he has asked the Department of Environment to check if EIAs were submitted before the slopes were cleared.
