PETALING JAYA: The Health Ministry has assured the public that cosmetic and pharmaceutical-grade talcum powder are usually more pure and do not contain cancer-causing asbestos, as claimed by the Consumers Association of Penang.
Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said these products were different from industrial-grade talcum.
