KUALA LUMPUR: The woman who stripped to avoid paying for a meal in Petaling Street has no recollection of the incident.

Police said the woman, 32, was found to have been high on syabu when she took off her clothes in the Thursday incident, which has gone viral on social media.

“We picked her up for questioning on Saturday but could only speak to her later as she had passed out. Her urine tested positive for methamphetamine,” Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Zainol Samah said.

He said when questioned, the woman claimed she did not remember the incident.

“It is a pretty straightforward case. We have forwarded the investigation papers to the deputy public prosecutor and are looking to charge her today,” he said.

Meanwhile, checks on the woman’s identity revealed that she was a Sabahan model who has participated in several beauty pageants and local reality television programmes.

It was reported that the woman stripped off her clothes to avoid paying for a meal worth around RM18.
