No police permit for chariot procession


POLICE have not given a permit for a temple’s chariot procession route in Sungai Petani after a murder last Thaipusam, reported Thina Kural.

The daily quoted the Kuala Muda district police as having denied that a permit was given for the procession this Thaipusam, which falls on Feb 3.
