FOURTEEN national researchers have been recognised as the recipients of Malaysia’s Rising Star Award for obtaining the top 1% of the Highly Cited Papers published worldwide. The information was extracted from the Essential Science Indicators (ESI) for the period from 2005 to 2014 by Thompson Reuters.

Articles by the award recipients have been frequently referred by researchers worldwide in a broad range of fields.
