These days, you just have a wide variety of cameras to choose from not just in size and shape, but also in price, so trying to choose one is not as easy as it seems.

After looking at the various cameras on the market right now, we settled on an entry-level DSLR from Canon -- we didn’t go for a mirrorless interchangeable lens camera simply because mirrorless options out there are actually a little more expensive than a DSLR, unless you’re willing to go for an older model.
