KUALA LUMPUR: Honor has unveiled its latest flagship foldable smartphone, the Magic V6, a device featuring a 7.95in inner display and a 6.52in outer cover screen, both capable of up to 120Hz refresh rates. The device's screens are also both Amoled.

The Magic V6 is equipped with a triple camera setup, with a 50-megapixel main wide-angle shooter, a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide. It also has two 20-megapixel wide-angle hole-punch selfie cameras placed on both the internal and external screens.

Other features with the device include an IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance rating, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and a subtler crease in the main screen compared to the previous generation, along with integration into the Apple ecosystem, allowing for things like file, message, and display sharing, among others.

A big focus for Honor with the foldable is durability, as the Magic V6 features an upgraded hinge and a more scratch-resistant display for both the inner and outer screens.

Speaking of the screen, the foldable also comes with a convenient shortcut called Fast-Flex to help with multitasking.

All users need to do is partially fold the device, then open it up again, after which it will automatically switch to split screen mode, with the main app displayed on one side and a secondary app, such as an artificial intelligence (AI) assistant like Google Gemini, on the other.

When it comes to storage and memory, the Honor Magic V6 is available in two configurations: 16GB RAM paired with 512GB (RM7,699) or 1TB (RM8,899) internal storage.

Early buyers will also be eligible for freebies valued at up to RM3,797 from today until June 11, including a Skyworth 43in Google TV.

Also launched today was the Honor MagicPad 4, a tablet that features dual operating systems: a familiar Android-based platform alongside a Linux-based environment meant for desktop-style productivity.

Other features include built-in support for OpenClaw AI agents, AI memos for meeting minutes and note-taking, content rewriting and summaries, and compatibility with the Apple ecosystem.

The MagicPad 4 comes in a single Grey colour option, with either 12GB RAM and 256GB (RM3,399) internal storage, or 16GB RAM and 512GB (RM3,999) internal storage.
