Vivo today (May 14) launched its latest additions to the X300 smartphone lineup, with the top-of-the-line X300 Ultra and more budget-friendly X300 FE.

The Vivo X300 Ultra has a 6.82in Amoled display capable of up to a 144Hz refresh rate, but the real star of the show has to be its Zeiss-powered camera setup.

On the back is a triple camera setup featuring two 200-megapixel sensors, one wide main shooter and another periscope telephoto camera, along with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera. All three feature optical image stabilisation.

Those looking to further augment their photo-taking experience can consider adding on the Photographer Kit, which includes an attachable grip that provides more camera-like ergonomics. The grip also has a built-in 2300mAh battery to extend shooting time.

Also included in the kit are a shoulder strap, a Tripod Collar Ring for mounting the X300 Ultra on a tripod, and two vivo Zeiss Telephoto Extenders offering 200mm- and 400mm-equivalent focal lengths.

Meanwhile, when it comes to selfies, the X300 Ultra has a 50-megapixel wide-angle hole-punch camera sitting at the top of the screen.

Those interested can also opt to get a bundle with the 1TB storage configuration and the Photographer Kit, priced at RM9,999.

Keeping the device and its Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor powered is a 6,600mAh battery, which charges at 100W wired and 40W wireless.

Other features include an under-screen fingerprint reader, IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance, along with the promise of five years' worth of operating system upgrades and seven years' worth of security updates.

The Vivo X300 Ultra comes in Steppe Green and Volcano Black, with two storage configurations: 32GB RAM paired with either 512GB (RM6,799) or 1TB (RM7,799) of internal storage.
