CelcomDigi has announced that it will be performing a systems upgrade on April 30 starting from 10pm for up to 24 hours.

"Please remember to make your payments, reloads, purchase add-ons and complete any urgent service transactions before 10pm on April 30. We appreciate your cooperation in planning these activities in advance to ensure a smooth experience during the scheduled IT systems upgrade, and regret any inconvenience caused," the company said on its website.

The company assured that the "mobile network remains fully operational" during the scheduled systems upgrade period.

A number of channels will be unavailable during the systems upgrade including the CelcomDigi app, website (bill payment and reload services), online store, kiosk and business portal.

It also advised customers travelling during the upgrade period to pre-book roaming passes before 10pm on April 30 through the CelcomDigi app.

Alternatively, roaming passes can be purchased via UMB/USSD by dialling *800#, with the service available from 8am on May 1.

Customers can still perform bill and payment services through JomPay while prepaid reload is available for purchase at selected convenience stores.
